Phuket International Hospital Overview
Hospitals Overview / Summary:
Phuket International Hospital is one of Phuket's largest hospitals providing acute care hospital services. A comprehensive range of general and specialty medical and surgical services are provided including cardiology for the treatment of heart disease and heart attack, neurosurgery, extensive trauma care, hyperbaric medicine for diving emergencies, pediatrics, obstetrics, plastic surgery, Lasik, dialysis and dental services, as well as many other specialty services.

Critical care services and general out patient services are often our foreign patients’ first point of contact and Phuket International Hospital provides a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week Emergency Department (ED), and critical care comprises an 11 -bed Intensive Care Unit. Our new hospital wing opened in early 2008.

Assisting foreign patients, relatives, families and medical tourism is our International Services department which provides coordination services with international insurance agencies, Embassies and ensures that any hospitalization is managed as smoothly as possible.

Our restaurant is pleasantly situated beside the garden on the first floor of Building 2. A wide variety of Western food is available along with Thai favourites made to order and a daily buffet.
S&P is a coffee shop and bakery provider which specialises in aromatic coffees and drinks, as well as sandwiches, cakes and other delicacies

Our Mini Mart provides essential supplies ranging from drinks, confectionaries to toothpaste and reading materials

Additional Service:
Supporting our hospital are various services and facilities designed to ensure a comfortable stay. Ambulance and fixed-rate taxi transportation is provided by the hospital for pick-ups, drop-offs and emergency evacuations. Our modern ambulances are staffed by a three person medical team and the driver. Defibrillator and ventilator equipment are also carried as needed.
